  • There is always supervision in the dugout and on the field.
  • No child will be dropped off at the field and left there. A parent or guardian must always accompany the child.
  • No score or standings are kept.
  • Low impact baseballs are to be used in all practices and games.
  • Bats are kept at the backstop, not in the dugout.
  • Coaches and buddies, including players from other divisions, may assist Challenger Players in all aspects of the game.
  • All players bat each inning. All players play the field each defensive inning.
  • Batters may choose to have the ball pitched to them, hit off a tee, or be assisted by a coach during the swing.
  • Each manager is responsible for his or her team equipment in the dugouts and that supervision is in place before players arrive.
  • If a manager can’t be there any given Saturday, he must assign one of his or her coaches to take over their responsibilities for that day.
  • Use of the dugout is restricted to players, coaches, buddies, and team parent.
  • No food or drinks are allowed in the dugout, except what the coaches provide, which will be water.
