Game Rules
- There is always supervision in the dugout and on the field.
- No child will be dropped off at the field and left there. A parent or guardian must always accompany the child.
- No score or standings are kept.
- Low impact baseballs are to be used in all practices and games.
- Bats are kept at the backstop, not in the dugout.
- Coaches and buddies, including players from other divisions, may assist Challenger Players in all aspects of the game.
- All players bat each inning. All players play the field each defensive inning.
- Batters may choose to have the ball pitched to them, hit off a tee, or be assisted by a coach during the swing.
- Each manager is responsible for his or her team equipment in the dugouts and that supervision is in place before players arrive.
- If a manager can’t be there any given Saturday, he must assign one of his or her coaches to take over their responsibilities for that day.
- Use of the dugout is restricted to players, coaches, buddies, and team parent.
- No food or drinks are allowed in the dugout, except what the coaches provide, which will be water.
